Moncton’s Capitol Theatre is looking for volunteers to serve on its Board of Directors. A variety of skills and expertise are sought, specifically experience as a CPA.
About the Capitol Theatre
As a regional, bilingual cultural centre, the Capitol Theatre is committed to promoting all arts disciplines and to present local, regional, national and international artists for you – our patrons.
We are proud to maintain one of our region’s most significant and beloved heritage buildings. Since its complete restoration in 1993, the theatre has undergone further major upgrades including a completely renovated lobby and green rooms, soundproofing and energy efficiency updates. The theatre boasts state-of-the-art equipment and amazing acoustics. For more than 100 years, we have been THE community’s gathering space where generations have enjoyed the best arts and cultural events.
Anticipated time commitments
- Board meetings: 8-10 annually, 1-2 hours per meeting, in person;
- Other advice: 1 hours monthly (emails, input on various items, etc.).
